Marcel Granollers wins Singles Final & First ATP Title! The 2008 US Men's Clay Court Champion was determined today through 150 minutes of grueling tennis. Some amazing shots were had by both men, but the winner today was Marcel Granollers of Spain. The #84 ranked Granollers captured his first ATP title of the year today, by defeating the number one seeded James Blake. Up 30-Love in the third set, the end seemed near, but Granollers stuck with it and made him hit the extra shot every time. Granollers and his coach continued the trend started by Schuettler & Gulbis of jumping in the pool to celebrate the victory.
